Dominick Alesia
Ensemble Member
Dominick has been an integral part of the Impostors since he first graced our stage in 2019. Much like the raconteur he portrayed in his Impostors debut, storytelling is part of the fabric of what makes Dominick the accomplished performer and artist he is today. As a child, Dominick searched for what would fill his life and found guidance in high school teachers who introduced him to the magic of music and the arts.
Now, as a professional writer and composer, music is always on Dominick’s mind. After the world premiere of his first musical with The Impostors, Miranda: A War-Torn Fable, he is passionate about building a consistent writing practice, which he views as a somewhat meditative state. Dominick is a master of details whether it be in selecting the perfect lyric or crafting a character who effortlessly burrows their way into the audience’s hearts.
“I’m very passionate about collaboration! I love the moments when we can put our heads together and share thoughts and talents to create something beyond what we imagined… or simply something different. Personally, I’m very passionate about art in general. It has saved my life many times, and is consistently flooding my mind. I’m very happy to be surrounded by individuals who love the arts as well.”
